    To learn more, visit . Responsibilities This position is in PCG's Human Services practice area on the Aging & Disability Services (A&D) team.

    The A&D team works with states and providers to design, develop, refine, evaluate, and manage programs that support older adults and people with disabilities.

    Our mission is to help our clients improve the lives of the people they serve. The A&D team is seeking to add a skilled, team-oriented Senior Consultant that will help us fulfill this mission.

    The Senior Consultant's primary responsibilities will be to manage our work with vocational rehabilitation (VR) clients, serve as a subject matter expert, and contribute to team sales efforts.

    Projects may include areas such as evaluation, technical assistance in policy development, and implementing innovative practices.

    The consultant should have a passion for doing high-quality work, continuously learning and improving, effectively analyzing cost data, consistently conducting a wide variety of data collection and analysis methodologies, and regularly exceeding consultants' and clients' expectations.

    Examples of specific responsibilities are described below. This position requires creative thinking as well as a detailed eye and excellent communications skills. Applicants must be able to demonstrate that they can excel both in a fast-paced team environment and autonomously. Experience with vocational rehabilitation agencies or employment for people with disabilities is required.


    Specific Responsibilities:
    + Lead client engagements with vocational rehabilitation agencies, or as well as other state agencies as appropriate + Manage complex projects and produce sophisticated workplans and deliverables + Develop strong relationships with clients and serve as a key contact for ongoing communications + Lead data analytics including the collection and analysis of primary and secondary data, managing a team to conduct analysis, and assuring accurate and valid results and analysis + Create reports and other written content based on data analytics that clients use for data-based decision making + Lead technical assistance to support clients in change management resulting from data analytics + Interpret and apply, federal and state policy in vocational rehabilitation + Supervise and provide direction to project staff, including subcontracted staff + Conduct presentations and oral briefings for clients + Lead proposal efforts, including managing proposal teams, writing content, and coordinating submissions + Develop new business and growth opportunities + Other consulting responsibilities as necessary

    Qualifications Skills:
    + Excellent verbal and written communications skills + Ability to provide excellent client service + Strong creative, strategic, and organizational skills + Ability to quickly recognize issues and identify solutions + Ability to accomplish tasks and goals and move multiple projects forward within a specific timeline and budget + Ability to follow, critically evaluate, and improve upon current processes + Ability to learn, understand, and apply policy in your area of subject matter expertise + Demonstrated history of perseverance through challenges + Ability to work both in a fast paced environment, both in a team situation and autonomously + Ability to work with colleagues and clients in virtual videoconferencing settings, including Microsoft Teams, Zoom, etc.


    • Proficiency with Microsoft applications, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel Required Experience:
    + Graduate degree or bachelor's degree with relevant leadership experience + 7+ years of consulting work experience in the field of vocational rehabilitation or employment for people with disabilities + Experience managing or supervising staff + Project management knowledge and skills + Proficient in writing professional communications and reports. + Strong analytical skills, including the ability to analyze large data sets, policy and legislation. + Ability to lead and manage teams, as well as work autonomously. + Proficiency in Microsoft applications, in particular Excel. + Proficiency or expertise in other software products for communication, data analysis, surveying, etc.


    Preferred Experience:
    + Knowledge or experience in leading successful systems change initiatives + Knowledge or experience in employment for people with disabilities, employment first, vocational rehabilitation federal and state legislation, policies, and practices + Project Management Professional (PMP) certification Applicants from across the US will be considered. Work is currently completed virtually, but the position may eventually require up to 25% travel. #LI-MB1 #LI-Remote Compensation Compensation for roles at Public Consulting Group varies depending on a wide array of factors including, but not limited to, the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.

    • As required by applicable law, PCG provides the following reasonable range of compensation for this role:
    $95,000 - $110,000. In addition, PCG provides a range of benefits for this role.
