- Generate a steady pipeline of leads through market research, networking, and outreach efforts.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to leverage marketing materials and campaigns for lead generation.
- Establish and nurture relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders within target organizations.
- Conduct effective presentations and product demonstrations to showcase the value of our mobile upfitting services.
- Act as a trusted advisor, understanding clients' unique requirements and proposing tailored solutions.
- Prepare and present compelling proposals and quotes to potential clients.
- Develop understanding of government budgeting, funding, and procurement process.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to close deals successfully.
- Collaborate with the internal teams to ensure accurate and timely delivery of services.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and emerging technologies.
- Utilize market insights to refine sales strategies and identify new business opportunities.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and progress in CRM systems.
- Background in public safety environment and/or vehicle maintenance and fleet management.
- Proven experience in B2B sales, particularly in selling services to commercial and government entities.
- Familiarity with mobile upfitting services, fleet management, or related industries is advantageous.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a results-driven mindset.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet or exceed sales targets.
- Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools.
- Willingness to travel occasionally to meet clients and attend industry events.
- Business to business sales experience
- 3 to 5 years inside/outside sales, customer service, telemarketing, or phone support experience
- Experience using Outlook, Excel, data base software.
- Experience selling product or service over the phone.
- Past experience in selling technical products is a plus.
