Director of Broadcast Engineering

Job Description:

The role involves managing broadcast engineering projects in Florida while potentially assisting in NY and DC, coordinating software updates and maintenance, and serving as a liaison with senior management.

Additionally, responsibilities include proposing and executing new equipment designs, enforcing operational procedures, and optimizing resource allocation. Required qualifications include strong leadership, organizational skills, and expertise in broadcasting standards, networking, and IT protocols.

Skill set / Experience:
Director of Broadcast Engineering

Manage and implement broadcast engineering projects in Florida, with potential support for NY and DC facilities.

Coordinate software updates and regular maintenance on equipment.

Serve as a liaison between FL facility and VP Broadcast Engineering.

Propose, plan, and execute the design, testing, and integration of new equipment.

Establish policies, maintain documentation, and assess improvements.

Make recommendations to senior management on broadcast engineering policies and procedures.

Implement and enforce standard operating procedures for technical staff.

Optimize resource allocation for cost-effective solutions.

Coordinate with Networking and IT on service requests and monitor facility health.

Maintain facility compliance with broadcasting standards.
