    Company Overview:
    We are a dynamic software company with a global team of 20 developers working overseas and a rapidly growing business. We are seeking an experienced Director of Engineering with strong leadership skills to join our team in-house. This position will play a crucial role in managing our development team and driving the development of our products.

    Job Description:
    As the Director of Engineering, you will lead and manage our team of developers, ensuring the delivery of high-quality software products. You will guide our remote development team through complex technical challenges, driving the overall architecture and development process.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the development team.
    • Lead and manage a team of 20+ remote developers.
    • Oversee the entire development process, ensuring high-quality code and timely delivery.
    • Collaborate with other departments to define and implement technical solutions that meet business needs.
    • Implement best practices in software development, including code reviews, testing, and continuous integration.
    • Participate in strategic planning and contribute to the overall vision of the company's technology and product roadmap.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
    • 7+ years of experience in full-stack development, with a strong focus on server-side technologies.
    • Proven experience managing and leading a development team.
    • Strong knowledge of backend frameworks and
    • Experience with database design and management (e.g. MongoDB).
    • Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., Google Cloud, Cloudflare).
    • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to handle complex technical challenges.
    • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with remote teams.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Foundational knowledge of generative AI apps
    • Experience working with overseas development teams.

    Mandatory Qualifications:

    • Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools (Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, Edge computing, managing server, deployment, scaling)
    • Preferred stack: MERN (MongoDB, ExpressJS, ReactJS, NodeJS)
    • Previous experience in a technical leadership role managing multiple teams of developers
