    Shriners Children's is the premier pediatric burn, orthopaedic, spinal cord injury, cleft lip and palate, and pediatric subspecialties medical center. We have an opportunity for a Physician Referral Liaison based at our Corporate Headquarters in Tampa, Florida.

    The Physician Referral Liaison effectively plans, analyzes, and implements outreach efforts in the market area. The Physician Referral Liaison develops and maintains relationships within the physician community to enhance lines of communication and build the referral base for Shriners Children's, and provides leadership with referral assessments to support strategic initiatives and identify opportunities and threats posed by competitive forces in the market area.

    The territory for this position is the State of Florida. Travel is estimated at 75%, with some travel necesitating an overnight stay.


    Responsibilities include cultivating new and existing referral relationships; utilizing marketing and communications techniques; and identifying areas in the referral loop for both performance improvement and barriers to success.

    This position requires regional travel estimated at 75%. The region consists of a 90 mile radius from Philadelphia, including Eastern PA, NJ, and portions of DE and MD.


    The ideal candidate will have 2 years' experience in a healthcare sales or marketing environment, or 1 year of sales or marketing combined with a clinical background. General medical knowledge is required, especially related to organizational services, treatment offerings and equipment. Experience with CRM/PRM tools and interpretation of market data is required. Bachelor's Degree in marketing or a related field is preferred. Key skills needed for this role include strong oral, written, presentation and communications skills; ability to work independently in an effective manner; and the ability to be self-directed, motivated and organized.
