Job Overview
Shriners Children's is the premier pediatric burn, orthopaedic, spinal cord injury, cleft lip and palate, and pediatric subspecialties medical center.
The Physician Referral Liaison effectively plans, analyzes, and implements outreach efforts in the market area.
The Physician Referral Liaison develops and maintains relationships within the physician community to enhance lines of communication and build the referral base for Shriners Children's, and provides leadership with referral assessments to support strategic initiatives and identify opportunities and threats posed by competitive forces in the market area.
The territory for this position is the State of Florida. This is a field-based role, with travel estimated at 75%. Of the 75%, approximately 10% overnight travel is required.Responsibilities
Responsibilities include cultivating new and existing referral relationships; utilizing marketing and communications techniques; and identifying areas in the referral loop for both performance improvement and barriers to success.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have 2 years of healthcare sales/marketing experience, or 1 year of sales or marketing experience combined with 5 years of clinical experience.
Key skills needed for this role include
strong oral, written, presentation and communications skills; ability to work independently in an effective manner; and the ability to be self-directed, motivated and organized.
