- Analyze, interpret, and present HR metrics/data.
- Assist in updating new hire orientation materials.
- Create new program proposals using Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Complete data entry in HRIS system and assist in document retention.
- Support day-to-day operations including data entry, administration, and project facilitation.
- Contribute to assigned company-sponsored community engagement activities.
- Participate in regular internship meetings and deliver a comprehensive summer internship overview presentation.
- Respond to emails as needed.
- Provide assistance to other departments as required.
- Demonstrate commitment, dependability, punctuality, and adherence to agreed-upon schedules.

- Enrolled in a 4-year bachelors degree program (junior year or higher) or completing a graduate degree program in human resources, business administration, or similar field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with intermediate Excel skills.

- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.

Position Summary:
Visual Comfort & Co. is looking for an eager intern to support our Human Resources team for Summer 2024. Interns typically support their designated department in day-to-day activities, complete assigned projects, and assist in all aspects of the departments needs. Interns will receive mentoring from their assigned supervisor and must contribute to a community engagement project sponsored by the company. At the end of the internship, interns are required to submit a presentation documenting their acquired knowledge and accomplishments.
