    Job Title:
    PeopleSoft Financials Business Analyst


    Location:
    Remote


    Work Hours:
    Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM Central


    Job Description:


    The PeopleSoft Financials Business Analyst plays a key role in understanding business objectives and problems, identifying alternative solutions, and performing studies and cost/benefit analyses of alternatives.

    The role involves analyzing user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate processing or improve existing computer systems.


    Key responsibilities include:

    Requirements Gathering and Analysis:
    Collaborate with organizational units to analyze current operational procedures and identify areas for improvement.
    Document user needs, program functions, and steps required to develop or modify computer programs.

    System Evaluation and Development:


    Review computer system capabilities, specifications, and scheduling limitations to determine feasibility of requested program or program changes within the existing system.


    PeopleSoft Financials Expertise:
    Solid understanding of PeopleSoft General Ledger and Commitment Accounting modules.
    Serve as a backup on Accounts Payable, Purchasing, or Asset Management modules.
    Experience with PeopleSoft FSCM 9.2 General Ledger and Commitment Accounting is required.

    Business Process Improvement:
    Work on a dedicated CAPPS Financials upgrade project team.
    Conduct review meetings with subject matter experts (SMEs) and document complex system requirements and processes.

    Testing and Training:
    Develop test scenarios, test scripts, and training materials.
    Perform hands-on testing and support multiple test cycles.

    Communication and Collaboration:
    Communicate and work effectively with a diverse team using collaboration tools in a remote work environment.
    Estimate work, set deadlines, and communicate effectively with stakeholders.

    Minimum Requirements

    Candidate Skills and Qualifications:


    8 years of experience as a Business Analyst on PeopleSoft Financials and Supply Chain Management (FSCM) implementation or upgrade projects.

    8 years of experience as a Business Analyst with PeopleSoft FSCM 9.2 General Ledger and Commitment Accounting.
    8 years of experience in identifying requirements and creating formal functional documents for key business stakeholders and SMEs.
    8 years of experience in conducting formal work sessions and functional analysis presentations.
    8 years of experience in performing hands-on end-to-end system integration and external interface testing.
    At least 4 years of experience with Microsoft O365 applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio).
    At least 2 years of experience with MS Team and Channel communication with a large team.

    Preferred Qualifications

    Experience working with the Comptroller of Public Accounts (CPA) CAPPS Financials.
    Experience with PeopleSoft FSCM 9.2 eProcurement, Strategic Sourcing, Supplier Contracts.
    Experience with PeopleSoft Approval Workflow Engine (AWE), SharePoint, Jira, working with the Scrum framework, and STAT.
