    Description
    Monday-Friday, CXI Trucking has an immediate need for a City Dispatch Supervisor at our Melrose Park, IL facility to manage dispatch operations and assist to coordinate warehouse operations

    Responsibilities will include:


    Delivery Planning for daily deliveries utilizing TMS SoftwareDriver and Route Management and Driver SchedulingTimely Dispatch of LTL Loads and Linehaul TrucksCoordinate Dock Operation with driver schedule'sWork with the Billing department to Maintain KPII metrics Assist with managing truck activity in the terminal and maintenance shopCompliance with DOT OSHA and Safety policiesOther duties as assigned by the Operations ManagerRequirements / Qualifications:Candidates must have proven basic leadership experience in a fast-paced environment.

    Strong Organizational / Communication/ and Logistical skills with solid problem-solving abilities.

    Execute all procedures and customer requirements according to SOPHandle issues and problems related to the movement of customer productMust be able to utilize proprietary and non-proprietary dispatch softwareFlexible, Excellent communication skills, Excellent organizational skillsDetailed oriented must be able to work quickly, independently and accurately under pressureAble to work various hours and overtime to meet the demands of the businessAble to adhere to professional business casual dress codeA proven track record in service, attendance, and reliabilityAbility to manage daily issues from large driver pool and a variety of equipmentExperience in managing operations staff Proficient with using Microsoft Word, Excel and OutlookBasic problem solving and organizational skillsExtensive knowledge of the Chicago metro areaPrior dispatch experience Prior LTL leadership experience is strongly preferred.

    Knowledge of quality freight handling preferred.
