Job Description

As an Inside Sales/Sales Support Professional, you will be responsible for providing sales support to customers and outside sales representatives. This includes responding to customer inquiries regarding product selection, placement of orders, requests for prices and quotations, complaints, scheduling of deliveries and installations, and providing customer follow-ups.

Job Responsibilities:

· Initiate telephone calls to customers to generate sales and achieve a projected sales goal

· Represent assigned outside sales representatives during their absence from the office, handle telephone calls, write orders, resolve problems, and relay any information for those individuals

· Provide accurate and complete material take-offs of single/multiple family home projects

· Coordinating the purchase and delivery of special products, obtaining information on pricing specifications, uses, and availability

· Coding and inputting customer orders, pricing information, and additional data into the computer system

· Creating accurate and complete invoices, work orders, and sales tickets, and researching credits, returns, and late payments as needed

· Work with outside sales representatives to ensure customer satisfaction

Qualifications:

· High School Diploma

· 2 years of experience in the building material industry with extensive knowledge of product and application

· Ability to operate a computer, specifically Microsoft Office, knowledge of building materials, applications, related equipment, and/or construction industry

· Good interpersonal and customer relations skills

· Excellent oral and written communication skills

· Be familiar with inventory and inventory control

Requirements

· Arrival is required at 8:00 am and will work until 5:00 pm (Some days may be earlier or later)
