- Ensure timely and accurate customer invoicing which includes submitting invoices to customer portals and processing paper invoices for mail
- Process requests for customer credits and debits as well invoice cancellations
- Create and maintain customer master records
- Evaluate and recommend customer payment terms and credit limits
- Analyze and resolve customer payment discrepancies
- Analyze and resolve customer past due invoices including maintaining status notes
- Work with internal sales, external sales, and customers to resolve payment issues
- Process sales representative commission statements and payments
- Process Letters of Credit with customers
- Evaluate work processes to identify areas to increase efficiency and accuracy

POSITION SUMMARY
The Billing & Accounts Receivable Specialist is responsible for the day-to-day functional operations of the accounts receivable area and responsibility includes customer invoicing, cash receipts processing, resolution of customer deductions, collections of past due receivables, processing sales commissions, and customer master maintenance.
This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, exceptional communication and organizational skills and the ability to work independently as well as cross-functionally with our internal and external sales representatives.
This position requires great attention to details, a strong ability to meet deadlines, and be able to work efficiently in both independent and team settings.
