    Finance & Accounting Consulting


    Travel Required :
    Consultants have responsibility for client management, solution implementation, and generation of project results. You will own project workstreams and interact with the client Consultants weekly to ensure engagement success. Senior Consultants are expected to prepare and communicate well-organized, effective reports and presentations to clients and internal executives.

    You will lead, coach, and mentor consultants and ensure quality deliverables in actuarial modeling tasks such as developing healthcare projections, analyzing risk adjustment impacts, and designing and evaluating value-based contracts and other risk-sharing models for our clients.

    Project opportunities include but are not limited to actuarial analyses in support of payers and market-dominant providers at the regional and/or national scale, as well as application of transformative new payment models for large federal healthcare clients (up to millions of covered lives).

    As a Senior Consultant, you will have clearly defined career growth goals and opportunities available to you based on your internal and external contributions and opportunities to coach and mentor consultants.

    Through this role, you will deepen your specialized industry knowledge and consulting skills, hone project management skills, leadership abilities, and the aptitude for managing multiple
    Completion of at least two actuarial exams , with intent and ability to progress to ASA or FSA

    • Bachelor's degree or higher in Actuarial Science, Economics, Finance, Insurance, Mathematics, Risk Management, Statistics, or similar
    • Travel up to 25%
    One year of work experience that includes the following:
    Analysis and summarization of data using spreadsheets.
    Knowledge of actuarial and statistical modeling techniques
    Proven ability to handle multiple projects and tasks.
    Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel and PowerPoint)
    Working knowledge of APMs (Alternate Payment Models) and/or VBP (Value-Based Payment) models in developing health claims projections
    Knowledge of risk adjustment methodologies
    Intellectual curiosity and ability to draw complex conclusions from data.
    Knowledge of Business Analytics software such as PowerBI, Access, SAS or R, and/or SQL
