    Prestige Staffing has a healthcare client in Sandy Springs looking for Patient AR candidates
    This is a contract position and our client is wanting to hire candidates to start immediately.

    Location: Sandy Springs
    Pay: $18-19/hr.

    Responsibilities:

    • Utilize communication skills to effectively engage with patients regarding outstanding medical bills.
    • Review patient accounts to determine outstanding balances and follow up accordingly.
    • Negotiate payment arrangements or settlements with patients to facilitate debt resolution.
    • Stay updated on medical billing practices, insurance policies, and regulations to ensure compliance.
    • Document all interactions with patients and maintain accurate records of payments and agreements.
    • Collaborate with other departments such as billing and finance to resolve complex billing issues.
    • Provide assistance and support to patients in understanding their bills and available payment options.
    • Utilize empathy and patience when dealing with patients experiencing financial difficulties.
    • Utilize software systems to track accounts receivable and monitor payment statuses.
    • Continuously strive to improve collection processes and efficiency to maximize revenue recovery.


    Requirements:

    • Experience collecting on self-pay accounts
    • Experience setting up payment arrangement
    • Excellent organization and communication skills
    • EMR experience is required
    • Ability to work onsite in Sandy Springs
    • 8-5 full time role
    • Ability to pass a background check
