    Lexus of Nashville has the exciting opportunity to expand its team with the addition of a Full-Time Express Automotive Service Technician.

    JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:


    Participates actively with team servicing of every customer vehicle to ensure fast, expert servicePerform minor services which include, but are not limited to, checking and changing the lube, oil and filter of each assigned vehicle following dealership and manufacturer procedures.

    Report any problems to the Service Advisor, or Service Director/Manager.

    Perform multi-point inspection on every vehicle (Customer Pay/Warranty/Extended Warranty).Find all legitimately needed services / repairs on the vehicle and record appropriate recommendations in MPI.Prepare an accurate estimate for all Additional Sales Requests and report findings to Service Advisor to be presented to the Guest.

    Assist other technicians with light duty mechanical work as needed.

    Dedicates work time to providing excellent customer serviceCommunicates with Service Manager, Service Consultants and other Technicians to meet Lexus time standards and to exceed customer requirements.

    Maintains back shop cleanliness and equipment calibration to Lexus standardsPerforms miscellaneous duties as assignedREQUIRED SKILLS:

    Valid Driver's LicenseCommitment to safety:

    Use of appropriate personal protective equipment, back belt, safety glasses and safety shoes at all timesAbility to stand and walk for prolonged periods of timeAbility to lift up to 50 poundsMust have a valid driver's licensePre-employment drug test and background check will help assure we build teams of people who can best work with others and serve customer needs.
