    What you will be responsible for
    Responding to service calls from the Service Resource Center, including a brief overview of equipment/system malfunctions. Contacting customer representatives to identify equipment/system issues. Conducting service and repairs on sprinkler systems for commercial, industrial, and residential use. This includes wet (steel, copper, and CPVC), dry, pre-action, deluge, and fire pumps.

    How you will carry out the tasks

    • Following specified troubleshooting procedures and consulting technical manuals, part manuals, change notices, bulletins, modification notices, etc., to diagnose and fix equipment.
    • Reading and interpreting blueprints, diagrams, submittals, specifications software/systems, programs, schematics, and operational product manuals.
    • Exhibiting strong customer service skills, along with solid organizational abilities, a positive mindset, and a quick learning aptitude.
    • Being capable of working independently.

    What we are seeking

    Mandatory

    • 7-10 years of proven experience in the Fire Sprinkler sector conducting service and repair on Sprinkler and Suppression systems.
    • High School Diploma or equivalent is a requirement.
    • Being on-call bi-monthly, working alternate shifts and occasionally weekends to meet customer needs.
    • Keeping truck inventory updated to ensure prompt response to customer requirements.
    • Adhering to, implementing, and following safety protocols and procedures consistently.
    • Holding a valid driver's license and meeting company driving record standards.
    • Adhering to verbal and written instructions.
    • Being capable of engaging in physical work, including handling and moving equipment and tools weighing up to 70 lbs.
    • Ability to work in challenging positions like climbing ladders, scaffolding, and high lift equipment up to 60 feet, working in ducts, crawl spaces, above ceilings, etc.
    • Understanding and complying with all safety regulations of the company and the customer.

    Preferred

    • NICET Level II certification is a bonus.
    • Backflow certification is an advantage.
