    Mechanical & Medical Devices Associate – Patent Prosecution (Menlo Park, CA; January 1, 1970 Location: San Francisco , Silicon Valley (Menlo Park)

    Practice:
    (MMD) Mechanical & Medical Devices Kilpatrick Townsend's Mechanical & Medical Devices Prosecution team seeks a USPTO-registered Associate attorney, with at least 2 years direct work experience as a patent attorney focused on the medical device or mechanical engineering fields, to be based in either our Silicon Valley (Menlo Park) or San Francisco office. This is an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge medical device technologies and interact directly with medical device start-ups as well as established companies. Placement in the Silicon Valley office allows for increased flexibility to work-from-home or remotely up to three days per week. Applicants should have a strong academic record including degree(s) in biomedical, mechanical, or aerospace engineering. Additional industry work experience is preferred but not required. Transcripts and patent prosecution writing samples will be requested.
