    Associate Account Executive - New York, United States - Notified

    For this opening we will consider candidates from the following locations: New York,NY,United States |

    Candidates with previous sales experience in a Public relations or Investor Relations environment will be highly considered. The Associate Account Executive will be tasked with developing, prospecting, and implementing public relations programs for both financial and non-financial sectors. Additionally, they will be responsible for ongoing prospecting to generate new sales leads for designated business services, adhering to the sales process from start to finish, and supporting corporate and departmental objectives and goals.

    This role is open to NYC and requires working 3 days per week in our NYC office at 1350 Broadway.

    Base pay is 60-70K plus uncapped commission. Compensation will be commensurate with experience.

    Essential Duties:

    • Qualify new business prospects by determining if the prospect matches company services and qualifications, outlining opportunities and benefits of pursuing relationships.
    • Prioritize most promising opportunities to penetrate prospect accounts with Notified
    • Understand the value of PR to your client's businesses and how to achieve valuable results for them
    • Demonstrate expertise in your client's business and industry and know your client's competitors
    • Pitch press releases and feature ideas by phone or email to top-tier media with a wide range of targets including business/financial and industry trade press to secure placement for clients
    • Ensure the unique needs of the client are understood and identify improvements needed to enhance business relationships, increase revenue, and exceed the client's expectations
    • Demonstrate the ability to write, edit and proofread to create high quality internal and external, channel-appropriate communications content.
    • Build rapport and establish credibility quickly with account buyers
    • Proactively manage and build pipeline, input, monitor, and update opportunities in a timely fashion
    • Identify and coordinate timely involvement of sales operations resources in the sales cycle to improve efficiencies
    • Attending industry events and onsite customer meetings
    • • Meet the assigned bookings quota and achieve weekly/monthly KPIs.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    Education:

    Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in business, information technology, or a related field

    Experience:

    2 - 3 years of experience in a sales role or account management role Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

    • Required experience in growing business through cross-sell and closing net new deals
    • Prior professional experience working with minimal supervision
    • Comfortable working both independently and on a team
    • Proven ability to balance multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
    • Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation skills, and time management
