Position Overview:
We're looking to add a member to our Corporate Development & Strategy team who's excited by the opportunity to join a small, fast-moving company seeking to set a new standard for the treatment of chronic skin diseases.
This position will play a critical role in formulating the strategy for the company and our portfolio of potentially best-in-class antibodies.
The successful candidate will have extensive experience in corporate and/or pipeline strategy, a track record of delivering high impact insights, and exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
This person must have a strong desire to "roll up their sleeves" and contribute in any way possible as we build the company and advance our programs at rapid speed.
In addition, they will bring a "team-first" mentality and a passion for developing paradigm-changing therapies. This role reports to the Vice President of Corporate Development & Strategy. The title of the role will depend on the qualifications of the applicant.Key Responsibilities:
Drive corporate strategy efforts related to our portfolio of novel biologics, including pipeline prioritization, identification of new growth opportunities, and other special projects
Support our pipeline programs through development of overall program strategy, contributing to development plans, conducting market analyses, performing competitive intelligence, building financial models, and providing analytical support for key decisions
Contribute to business development, investor relations, corporate communications, and other activities as needed
Collaborate closely with clinical development, program management, legal, finance, and other functions to support advancement of our programs and company
Serve as a strategic thought partner to senior leadership in the creation, refinement, articulation, and execution of our business and program strategy
Qualifications:
4+ years of experience in the biopharma industry, which could include management consulting and/or comparable experience
Ability to apply a deep scientific and clinical understanding and broad knowledge of drug development to drive the business forward
Strategic mindset with a record of delivering high impact insights; ability to dissect information quickly and develop data-backed recommendations for R&D programs
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with prior experience presenting to senior leadership and Board of Directors
Collaborative, team-first attitude; adept at working with many different disciplines both inside and outside the company
An "undaunted" attitude, high energy, and a passion for delivering paradigm-changing therapies to patients
Undergraduate training in a scientific discipline
Preferred Qualifications :
Prior Immunology & Inflammation experience from academia or industry
