    Role Overview The senior director for Great Minds Schools is responsible for growing and implementing Great Minds' industry-leading whole-school support model across the United States.

    Launched as a pilot in 2021, Great Minds Schools supports partner schools in implementing multiple high-quality curricular products, including Eureka Math Squared, Geodes, PhD Science, and Wit & Wisdom.

    Through intensive coaching and continuous improvement cycles, the model emphasizes not only shifts in classroom practice but also shifts in school culture and climate, effecting academic gains as well as improvements in teacher retention and disciplinary referrals.

    The pilot Great Minds Schools site, located in Florence, Arizona, has hosted hundreds of visitors interested in the role of high-quality curriculum in school improvement.

    The school has also served a site for academic research into the support required for effective curriculum implementation and into the factors and context essential to effective curriculum adoptions.

    Great Minds seeks to build on the Great Minds Schools concept, launching additional Great Minds Schools sites in markets across the country, catalyzing further focus on high-quality curriculum and the conditions in which it flourishes.

    Specific Responsibilities The senior director will lead the implementation of the Great Minds Schools model at its current site, will secure additional sites across the country, and will manage effective implementations of the school-wide model in new sites.

    Managing a team of implementation leaders and coaches who support Great Minds Schools partners

    Developing and managing new relationships with prospective Great Minds Schools partner districts and schools, individually and in group settings such as webinars and conferences; Great Minds Schools team members work remotely.

    However, the senior director should anticipate travel to sites or prospective sites on average during at least two weeks per month.

    Periods in which schools are preparing to launch may require more frequent travel or trips of greater duration.
    A track record of managing teams to successful outcomes.
