- Bachelor's Degree in risk management, insurance, mathematics, Human Resources, Business Administration or related field
- Strong professionalism, including the ability to maintain strict confidentiality of employee information
- Knowledge of Federal, State, and local laws as related to benefit plans
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with employees at all levels of the organization and provide a high level of customer service
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, and PowerPoint) -Experience with Excel Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, and advanced formulas and the ability to handle large data sets.
- Detail oriented and excellent organizational skills; accuracy is essential -Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet critical deadlines
- Attention to detail. You are focused and meticulous in your work and comfortable processing and maintaining a high volume of files. You understand how benefits impact payroll. You have experience working under tight deadlines
- Creativity. You have the ability to think differently and have an eye for the continuous improvement of processes and systems. Your opinion will be valued and will have impact. Benefits administration experience is a plus
- Ability to supervise other staff
- Ability to lift items weighing as much as 25 pounds

Summary: The Senior Benefits Specialist, will support the day-to-day activities required to maintain and administer Client benefit plans. You will be responsible for administering and advising on a variety of employee benefits programs, from 401k plans to group health, prescription drug, behavioral health, dental, childcare, education, disability, wellness and other plans. Additionally, you will be responsible for data management and analysis related to all plans and associated carriers. We are also looking for someone who wants the opportunity to find new and creative solutions to process improvement while leveraging technical expertise and understanding of downstream implications.
