    Our client is a privately-owned global sports and media organization that has a unique opportunity available for a Finance and Business Operations Associate.

    Position Summary

    The role provides financial information to management by researching and analyzing accounting data and preparing reports. The primary focus will be on accounting functions, in addition to supporting the Business Operations team with HR functions.

    Major Responsibility

    This role will oversee the responsibilities outlined below across the Finance and Business Operations departments:

    Finance:

    – Manage records and receipts in financial systems

    – Reconcile daily, monthly, and yearly transactions

    – Process vendor invoices and customer billings

    – Examine and reconcile bank statements with general ledger entries

    – Prepare and manage financial statements

    – Develop an in-depth knowledge of organizational process

    – Provide customer services to clients

    – Serve as key point of contact for other departments on financial and accounting matters

    – Support Finance executives with projects and tasks, when required

    – Review and Process expenses reports submitted by employees

    – Create company ad-hoc financial reports

    – Support year-end audits

    – Support tax filings

    Business Operations:

    – Support the Human Resources team on tasks associated with recruiting, onboarding, and off-boarding

    – Develop new hire processes and assist in execution

    Skills & Experience Required

    As our preferred candidate, you will have:

    – Bachelor's Degree (preferably Accounting or related), 2-3+ years of experience

    – Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint), QuickBooks

    – Excellent attention to detail and time management/verbal/written/presentation skills

    – Ability to thrive in an ambiguous and demanding environment

    – Strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to build and foster key business relationships

    Salary Range

    $65,000 to $75,000 annually
