    Seeking a skilled Sr. Project Specialists to support upcoming projects with the federal government. This position is contingent upon our firm being awarded the contract.

    Functional Responsibility: Provide professional knowledge of, and skill in applying a wide range of theories, concepts, and in-depth technical knowledge of quantitative methods of analytical, mathematical, or statistical principles and practices to U.S. Government programs; and knowledge of analytical processes, such as: setting up the problem, conducting background operation research, collecting and reducing data, displaying data for analysis, formulating mathematical expressions; and drawing conclusions.

    Perform quantitative and qualitative analysis, data quality assurance, and develops graphics and reports based on the analysis and interpretation of formative and summative operational and management program statistics and capabilities.

    The Sr. Project Specialists will also provide support for the production of trends analysis using CBP enforcement and intelligence data. The Sr. Project Specialists will oversee, train, and provide Project Specialists with effective technical techniques, advice, and directions for use on short or long term major ah-hoc projects. The Sr. Project Specialists must be Self-motivated, excellent communication skills, strong analytical and troubleshooting skills must have. The Sr. Project Specialists will need to be comfortable working in a fast paced environment with shifting priorities, vague requirements, rapid iterations and commutations with Senior Government Officials.

    Required to create, maintain and update various USBP databases and Excel spreadsheets for tracking USBP operational intelligence historical data. Perform statistical percent change analysis and projections. Able to utilize advanced Structure Query Language (SQL) functionalities in Aqua Data Studio Application and complex Excel formulas to research and produce useful statistics from large set of data. Generate new and/or modify existing USBP standardized and canned reports to provide statistical reports with percent change analysis and projections.

    Write and maintain complex SQL queries for data mining from various internal and external databases. Manipulate large data sets to develop statistical models and methodologies in a fast paced environment. Give briefs on statistics, analyses, and projections to Senior U.S. Government Officials.

    Ensure data integrity in enforcement systems and provide recommendations on improving the integrity of the systems. Conduct analysis research and analyze USBP's datasets for system and processing errors. Able to investigate data anomalies to determine root causes. Independently write brief summary white papers of the findings and present the issues and recommendations via System Change Requests to ensure USBP's data integrity of USBP's systems.

    Query information in the enforcement systems in order to verify data is accurate and complete information, and support various requests and reporting requirements. Must be able to define and document data quality assurance standard reports within USBP systems to address data issues and minimize errors. Able to write and manage all new and/or existing Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) manual training documents for the Statistics Data Integrity (SDI) Unit, include, but are not limited to: Daily, Weekly, Monthly, and Data Quality reports.

    Expert proficiency in Aqua Data Studios, MS Office Suite, included but not limited to Excel, MS Access. SQL, knowledge of relational databases, Oracle, Server Query Analyzer, v-Lookups, and Macro, and SharePoint. VBA and Visual Basic intermediate qualifications are needed to in order to create automated statistical databases.

    Required Experience: Eight years' and above experience in the functions described above.

    Required Education: Bachelor's Degree in computer science, information systems management, mathematics, engineering, or related field. An additional four years of relevant experience may be substituted for the Bachelor's Degree.
