Job Summary:

The IDCS PMO Director will lead a team of project and program managers who support various business stakeholders with complex build requirements. The Director will provide strategic leadership and will ensure project success across all builds, including kit servers, appliances, and rack integration projects. This role requires that the Director interact with sales teams, communicate with customers, manage escalations, and provide readouts, on the state of the business, to senior executives.This role requires leadership, discipline and the ability to manage competing demands, and resources while executing project completion to meet aggressive timelines.

This position is required to report to the SHI Piscataway office location and reports to the Vice President of Integration Data Center Services.

Responsibilities:

Include but not limited to:

Oversee the team of Project and Program Managers.
Act as the primary escalation point for Project & Program Managers, addressing any issues and escalating them to the Operations Manager, Escalation Management team, and Vice President when necessary.
Ensure alignment of build timelines across project management, configuration, engineering, and quality control teams to maintain accurate shipping schedules.
Partner with the Demand Planning team and create quarterly OEM QBR reports.
Present IDCS scorecard results to Sales and Leadership teams.
Present IDCS status and achievements in customer-facing meetings.
Support PMO management and confirm that incoming projects are balanced across the PMO.
Help the PMO juggle project management responsibilities while meeting aggressive timelines.
Ensure that training documentation is continuously updated to successfully onboard new PMO members.
Serve as a coach and mentor to the PMO staff.

Qualifications:

Bachelors in business or relevant work experience required
Minimum 5-7 years experience leading project management teams, preferably in the IT field
Minimum 5-7 years' experience managing day-to-day activiies of PMO
Minimum 5-7 years' experience in portfolio and project management
Minimum 3-5 years' experience communicating project plans/status to internal and external stakeholders of all levels
Minimum 3-5 years' experience presenting to project teams, internal management, and client/customer executives
Proficiency in tools such as Microsoft Project and Excel.
Previous management experience is required.

Required Skills:

Ability to work with several teams and manage multiple rack integration projects that are running simultaneously
Ability to manage multiple, competing, complex projects virtually through WebEx and TEAMs
Ability to manage a growing team, that supports varying projects, and can foster a sense of community while still addressing the urgency of each project
Ability to adapt in a dynamic environment, changing priorities and evolving project needs
Ability to keep the teams focused, inspired, and organized throughout the life cycle of the project
Strong written, verbal skills with the ability to articulate ideas succinctly
Strong Microsoft suite competency including Word, Excel, SharePoint, and Teams
Strong analyticl skills
Ability to identify and mitigate risk before the escalation
Ability to navigate an Airtable interface
Ability to summarize rack and kit build status and communicate meaningful updates and trends to senior leadership team.
Strong business acumen and understanding how the organization operates, generates revenue, and can make informed decisions
Ability to analyse data, identifying trends, and making data-driven decisions

Preferred Qualifications/Skills:

Knowledge of configuration and SHI warehouse processes
Experience with AX
Integration Data Center experience and working knowledge of IT concepts such as servers, storage, cloud computing, and disaster recovery
Previous experience in IT delivery and operations
Knowledge of LEAN manufacturing concepts
Masters degree in business related discipline
PMP Certification

Certifications Required:

PMP Certification is preferred

Extended hours are required to complete some special projects

Additional Information:

The estimated annual pay range for this position is $140,000 - $230,000 which includes a base salary and bonus. The compensation for this position is dependent on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location and, therefore, will vary from individual to individual. Benefits may include, but are not limited to, medical, vision, dental, 401K, and flexible spending.
