The Creator team's mission is to facilitate our Creator community's growth and development, drive high quality content production and increase creator engagement and product adoption through scaled content and education programs. This team will also create scalable initiatives to build, celebrate, and recognize our diverse and inclusive communities around the world.Within the Creator Team, the Creator Engagement & Community team is responsible for:- Developing creator programs based on content ecosystem and product needs/opportunities (eg CPB, 1min+ creator onboarding program, creator plan for Met Gala, booktok creator program, etc).- Developing frameworks for community building through DE&I initiatives, GR social impact needs and creator recognition programs (eg BlackTikTok, CasaTikTok, TTfG, Ambassador programs, Creator Councils, etc). Standardize how we drive creator advocacy.- Building creator campaigns around scaled programs, scaled education, DE&I, and creator recognition that target TT creators and non-TT creators and are aimed at changing perception and driving creator engagement.- Unify our approach to key creator events (eg TikTok Awards, creator summits) and key creator industry events (eg Vidcon).- For all of the above, responsible for scaling these efforts to local/regional teams ensure constant dialogue and value-add as well as responsible for executing in NA.- As part of the CE&E team, the Community Team will focus on #2 above.- The Head of Community will lead a team that develops scalable solutions that serve regional/local needs as well as execute them in NA.- Develop a holistic, inclusive approach to community building and DE&I, ensuring we support all creator communities/identities.- Champion underrepresented creator voices and find new ways to celebrate & support these communities in impactful ways.- Coordinate and scale best practices and playbooks for community and DE&I events (to be executed regionally/locally)- Create frameworks around how we show creator appreciation and recognition (eg creator gifting strategy, creator milestone recognition programs).- Support reactive and proactive GR needs through co-develop creator mobilization and advocacy initiatives in authentic and impactful ways.- Manage the global TTfG program and rollout in NA, standardize playbooks for social impact causes, fundraisers to serve regional/local needs.- Standardize the ways we drive creator appreciation (eg gifting strategy, recognition programs, enrichment programs in partnership with the publisher team) as well as creator ambassador programs, creator councils.

    Qualifications

    Minimum Qualifications:- Experience leading and managing teams focused on the creator and content ecosystem, ideally with experience at other top content ecosystem, ideally with experience at other top content, entertainment and social media/influencer platforms or companies or relevant industries- Highly collaborative leader with strong track record of working across teams, organizational structures, geographies to drive impact- Ability to develop scalable frameworks and approaches- Experience working in a cross-functional environment as a consensus builder across disparate business units with occasionally conflicting KPIs- Leadership in understanding key business priorities, including the ability to clearly articulate key issues, recommend solutions, and drive projects start-to-finish to serve those core business prioritiesPreferred Qualifications:- Extraordinary organizational skills with the ability to work cross functionally with other stakeholder teams and senior leadership.- The ability to manage teams to meet deadlines and drive strong execution in a fast‐paced environment.- Exemplary interpersonal, analytical and communications skills.- MS/MA/MBATikTok is committed to creating an inclusive space where employees are valued for their skills, experiences, and unique perspectives.     Job Information

    The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $ $229140 annually.

    Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
