The Creator Marketing Data Science team is seeking an exceptionally skilled data scientist who excels at the intersection of data, human behavior, marketing, product development, and engineering.
In this capacity, the Data Scientist will conduct experiments, develop models, and provide valuable insights into our creator base, identify potential opportunities, and evaluate the effectiveness of our marketing strategies and tactics.
The ideal candidate will possess a passion for problem-solving, innovation, delivering data-driven insights, and thriving in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
Data Scientist, Creator Marketing ResponsibilitiesApplies multiple statistical approaches as neededWrites elegant, reproducible code as needed to execute analysesDraws insights from quantitative data and begins to identify deeper-level implicationsTake advantage of massive amounts of structured data to understand how our customers interact with our product and service offeringsProactively identify opportunities to improve the experience of creators on the Meta family of appsLead the measurement, analysis, and interpretation of results from data requirement gathering, to modeling, and recommendationsPartner with cross-functional teams to identify new opportunities requiring the use of modern analytical and modeling techniquesDesign and execute experiments (e.g., A/B testing, multi-armed bandit)Communicate insights and recommendations to marketing leads and influence strategic decision-makingMinimum Qualifications4+ years of experience in a data science capacity in a business strategy, marketing, finance, engineering, or analytics organization4+ Experience with data querying and manipulation using SQL, Python, or R Experience with experimental designExperience with data analysis and statistical modeling using the R or Python ecosystems, with packages such as pandas, Statsmodels, Scikit-learn, Tidyverse (dplyr, ggplot2, etc.)Experience with stakeholder communication and presentation skillsCurrently has, or is in the process of obtaining a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
