Our growing Communications and Community Engagement Department is looking for an experienced part-time (22.5 hours/week) Communications Coordinator.

The Communications Coordinator (CC) will be a positive, collaborative, organized and detail-oriented individual who wants to help grow an expanding Communications Department within a fast-growing organization.

This person will enjoy working in a team-oriented environment where inclusiveness is valued, and individual accountability is essential to success.

The CC reports to the Director of Communications and Community Engagement. The CC carries out a variety of administrative functions benefiting the Communications and Community Engagement Department.

The position requires excellent organizational skills and the ability to work on multiple projects with varying deadlines.

The CC must have excellent communications skills and must have the discretion and poise necessary to deal with sensitive and confidential situations.


Key Responsibilities:


Serving as the main manager and content creator of all Felton Social Channels (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, Twitter) Providing overall administrative support to the Communications team and specifically to the Director of Communications and Community Engagement.


This includes, but not limited to:

Social Media Management & Strategy:


  • Serve as the lead content creator for Felton's social channels including Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, and Twitter.
  • Direct daily engagement and interactions across all Felton social media platforms.
  • Monitor and participate in Feltoncentric dialogues on social media to gauge public perception and respond accordingly.
  • Alongside Comms Director and Project Manager plan, schedule, capture, and create content tailored for Felton's audience across various social channels.
  • Uphold and communicate Felton's mission and values consistently as the "Felton Voice and Brand" online.
  • Craft and dispatch content in realtime, responding to trending topics and community interactions.
  • Organize and streamline Felton's social media presence for optimal content delivery and audience engagement.
  • Implement social media campaigns and strategies aimed at increasing our digital footprint and engaging our community.

Photography, Videography & Media Production**:


  • Lead scheduling and filming for light video recording.
  • Lead and execute photography and light videography efforts for content creation, ensuring visual storytelling aligns with brand strategy.
  • Manage video light editing processes, turning raw footage into polished, shareable content for use on website and social media.
  • Employ design and editing tools like Canva, Lightroom, and Adobe with proficiency to produce visually appealing digital content.

Event Support & Promotion:


  • Provide onground support at agency events, facilitating social media coverage, photography, filming, and logístical coordination.
  • Contribute to event promotion through the creation of digital content that engages and informs our community.

Digital Marketing & Analytics:


  • Implement highlevel digital marketing strategies and track campaign performance using analytics tools to inform future initiatives.

Administrative Support & Content Development:


  • Assist the Communications team with administrative duties, including but not limited to processing Return on Expenses (ROE) and general clerical tasks.
  • Undertake graphic design projects to create visual assets that resonate with our audience.
  • Provide backup support for content development tasks, including copywriting and editing.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Level Degree in related field
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Experience with Adobe and/or Canva
  • Familiarity with fastpaced office environment dealing with public and media
  • Computer fluency with either Windows or Mac and fluency with Word and Excel.
  • Ability to maintain the highest level of discretion, diplomac
