    Role: Global Client Partner, Telecom

    Job description

    In this role you will be responsible for client management for all programs delivered across service lines, globally. You will be expected to work closely with senior management to build an account plan and hold responsibility for client management based on the account plan.

    A successful candidate for the role would require good understanding of telecommunication service provider as a industry sector and be able to analyze competition to develop appropriate sales strategies and solution expertise, along with the techno-functional teams within the organization.

    This is a very strategic role for HCLTech and involves successful client relationship management and further business development for one of the marquee client engagements. The role would be:

    • Responsible for looking at the overall client technology landscape and provide proactive proposals with relevant internal and external stakeholders in helping develop final of scope of work.
    • Work as a preferred technology partner with key client decision makers across Product Groups, IT Applications, Tech infrastructure, Networks, Customer Experience, and corporate functions.
    • Create and leverage network in the client organization and establish "trusted relationships" at the CxO level.
    • Sales management through rigor in review of pipeline and performance against plan on weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis. Define the approach and set the plan to expand this account by quarterly plans.
    • Act as the "trusted partner" across the client and the service delivery teams. Providing insights on client's business objectives to the enable delivery teams to help identify opportunities for high impact programs.
    • Achieve revenue expansion, margin optimization and secure future order booking while focusing on increasing client satisfaction scores year on year.
    • Interacting with Supplier relationship team from client organization and maintain smoother flow of contracts, invoices, and payments.

    Desired Skills and Experience

    • Minimum 20 years of experience, with strong sales/relationship management/account management experience in telco clients.
    • Minimum 4 years of managing large strategic accounts of at least $100 million.
    • Minimum 8 years of experience in technology consulting. Be able to envision, communicate the value proposition, negotiate financial terms and conditions and closing large deals with Telco companies.
    • Have had the experience to manage large direct and indirect teams through structure supervision and guidance in day to day activities
    • Experience in Global Delivery Models with demonstrable knowledge of processes and methodologies.
    • Ability to manage multi-cultural teams.
    • Willing to travel to different client locations - and to delivery centers globally.
    • Experience in managing large, multi-service line Managed service engagements spread across multiple geographies.
    • Thrives as a self-starter and entrepreneur but also knows how to drive a diverse team towards a common goal. Enjoys working in a fast paced and client centric environment.
    • High result orientation with a sense of urgency.
    • Strong written and oral communication skills with proven ability to develop compelling proposals and business plans.
