    Account Manager / Sales Specialist

    Responsibilities

    • Devise and execute sales plans to achieve revenue targets, with a focus on outbound prospecting and lead generation.
    • Identify and evaluate potential clients within academia, bio/pharma, and biotech fields.
    • Manage and cultivate a strong sales pipeline, offering precise revenue forecasts and insights on growth opportunities.
    • Implement effective sales tactics to secure deals, negotiate contracts, and drive revenue growth in designated accounts.
    • Maintain regular communication with clients through follow-ups and relationship-building initiatives.

    Qualifications

    • Demonstrated ability to perform the required tasks effectively.
    • Preferably hold a Bachelor's degree in life science or related field.
    • Bring at least 3 years of experience in sales and business development within the biotech research sequencing sector.
    • Established connections in Pharma, biotech, and academic research settings.
    • Exhibit a confident and driven approach to securing new business and fostering long-term client partnerships.
    • Adapt easily to changing environments and excel in a startup atmosphere.
    • Willingness to travel up to 30% of the time.
