    About Parameta

    Parameta Solutions, the data and analytics division of inter-broker dealer TP ICAP, is a leading global provider of OTC Market Data. From pre to post trade, their solutions help clients manage complex markets more effectively.

    In May 2022, the firm became an FCA authorized benchmark administrator. This license has allowed the company to take on administration of the nine TP ICAP interest rate swaps benchmarks that were previously administered by Moorgate Benchmarks. In April 2023, the firm was also approved as an ESMA authorised benchmark administrator, making it the first IDB to administer OTC benchmarks and indices across Europe AND the UK.

    Central to Parameta's purpose is partnering with clients to create true value. The team is focussed on helping clients navigate changing market conditions, not only by providing world-class proprietary data but also the analysis and insight that will fuel their strategies.

    Role Overview

    Parameta Solutions has set exciting objectives to grow its business and increase contribution to group revenues across a five year period. Aligned to this strategy is the creation of a new position, Buy-Side Sales Manager, Americas, to be located in New York. The role will be tasked with contributing greater client and geographical diversity from within the region.

    The Buy-Side Sales Manager will work to grow the Parameta Solutions business through the retention and addition of new customers. You will own client interaction, lead curation, regional sales strategy and localised interaction with key channel partners. Internally you will work closely with the sales, product specialist, marketing and operation teams to continuously accelerate growth

    Role Responsibilities
    • Drive revenue growth from new products via existing customers and qualifying, closing new business opportunities
    • Construct, forecast, and manage pipeline via
    • Communicate effectively and efficiently via phone, email, and in-person meetings
    • Develop strong commercial relationships with key clients
    • Perform diverse functions effectively: territory management, account management sales strategy and lead generation
    • Maintain and build on your understanding of capital markets and technology
    • Contribute to the businesses global sales and marketing strategy;
    • Implement strategic key account plans
    • Communication of market developments to key internal stakeholders
    • To fulfil any additional / ad hoc duties as required to meet the needs of the business.
    Experience / Competences

    Essential
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to identify and provide comprehensive solutions for varying customer needs
    • Skilled in use of and Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
    • Understanding of wholesale financial services
    • Self-starter with ability to problem solve, adapt, and grow with the sales organization
    • Demonstrate previous experience selling market data & analytics
    Desired
    • Proven track record of growing a customer base and consistently exceeding revenue targets and organizational goals
    • Understanding of sales methodology preferable
    • Thrives in a fast-paced environment
    $140,000 - $150,000
