General Summary:

Job Title: Staff UI Architect

Responsibilities and Duties:

Overall with 10+ years of experience in Software UX designing and architecture.
Lead the design and development of user interfaces using cuttingedge technologies.
Collaborate with product management and engineering to define and implement innovative solutions for the product direction, visuals, and experience.
Conduct code reviews and uphold high standards for code quality.
Provide architectural and technical leadership on developing our core products and services.
Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a UI architect and software developer.
Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model.
Strong proficiency in TypeScript, including a detailed understanding of how it relates to JavaScript and the benefits it provides.
Thorough understanding of Angular AND/OR , and their core principles.
Familiarity with RESTful APIs.
Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Tokens and OAuth.
Familiarity with modern frontend build pipelines and tools.
Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements.
Familiarity with code versioning tools such as Git.
Experience with managing and scaling large projects.
Strong skills.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.

Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 1+ year of Software Engineering or related work experience.

OR
PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.

2+ years of academic or work experience with Programming Language such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc

Nice to Have:

Experience with writing serverside code (i.e. backend services).
Knowledge of (React) and Angular Universal is a plus.
Thorough understanding of different rendering approaches: SSR, SSG, Clientside.
Experience building or working with an inhouse UI component library.
Experience with Turborepo and esbuild.
