- Utilize SAP, print labels, and manage inventory accurately.
- Coordinate ribbon and sheet machine operations to optimize production.
- Enhance machine speeds, reduce downtime, and waste.
- Understand upstream and downstream processes.
- Address daily personnel issues effectively.
- Collaborate with Shipping Manager to fulfill customer orders promptly.
- Coordinate with Plant Manager for direction and project alignment.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards working closely with EH&S Manager.
- Manage personnel activities, payroll, overtime, and PTO for adequate staffing.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in machine areas.
- Record personnel, equipment, and essential activities for smooth operations.
- Identify process improvements continually.
- Lead JSA (job safety analysis) and implement necessary safety changes.
- Complete assigned duties.
- Promote teamwork and professionalism among employees.
- Provide training and cross-training for production job functions.
- Conduct performance reviews and necessary evaluations.
- Audit production records for accuracy and completeness.
- Make recommendations for hiring, discipline, and termination.
- Supervise personnel and equipment in machine areas regularly.
- Facilitate training and development when needed.
- Support plant requirements directed by the Plant Manager.
- Maintain adequate machine supplies in inventory.
