The Area Sales Director is a hybrid sales role with primary responsibilities for promoting and selling AVAVA's MIRIA, the next generation aesthetic medical device into a large sales territory and leading a small team of Area Sales Managers.
The Area Sales Director has high accountability for achieving their own sales quota as well as helping their team achieve their sales quotas.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
The requirements listed below are representative of the essential duties.
Achieving capital sales quota results in the assigned territory. Responsible for performing territory penetration through effective prospecting, cold calling, and follow up.
Demonstrate a strong work ethic and represent the company with high integrity, ethics, honesty, loyalty, and professionalism.
Ability to travel adequately to cover territory including overnight stays, attend tradeshows, and corporate meetings as well as sales training meetings.
Supporting and helping to facilitate the execution of regional training workshops and tradeshows within the territory and area.
Preparing sales contracts, quotes, price, and terms per company guidelines.
Completing administrative responsibilities including use of the customer relationship management software (CRM), business plans, weekly expense reports, and up-to-date account profiles.
Developing and maintaining supportive, productive and effective relationships at all levels within the organization
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Area Sales Managers will report into the Area Sales Director.
SKILLS REQUIRED
Education and/or Experience
This position requires a minimum of a Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.), or equivalent experience.
10+ years selling capital equipment preferably in the aesthetic medical device industry or business to business capital sales.
Multiple President's Club Achievement in Prior Roles.
Past leadership experience running a team of capital managers
Prior experience with capital and consumable mode
Valid driver's license issued by the state in which the individual resides; good driving record.
All sales employees are required to drive a personal vehicle for company business. This vehicle is to be in good condition and well maintained.
Ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic startup environment.
Ability to work on multiple sales accounts at the same time.
Ability to work with minimal supervision.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
