The main function of a business analyst is to maintain vendor relationships, acting as a business analyst for non-IT projects or filling organizational roles above an administrative level, but below a management level.

Other responsibilities may include maintaining all project management processes, including project goals, deadlines, metrics and budget
The business analyst usually reports to a project manager or director

Coordinate communication between numerous internal and external teams, vendors and partners
Engage with partner and cross-functional teams to identify constraints, dependencies, and coordination areas, to deliver features at high quality
Identify resources needed and work closely with the team leads to maintain full visibility of multiple projects, ensuring resource gaps are addressed efficiently
Setup, coordinate, and report goals, roadmaps, and strategy
Ensuring the members of their team are able work at their highest potential and able to play to their strengths
Drive continues improvements and change management
Implement technologies in production and warehousing shop floors
