Professional Researcher/Research Scientist
Bixby Center for Global Reproductive Health
Beyond the Pill, a program of the Bixby Center for Global Reproductive Health at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF), is recruiting for a Professional Researcher. Beyond the Pill partners with health care providers, researchers and educators to improve access and equity in contraceptive care and other reproductive health services. We are an interdisciplinary team of researchers, clinicians and educators who contribute to science, policy and clinical practice change in the US and globally.

For this position, we are looking for a quantitatively-trained researcher with expertise in the following areas: sexual and reproductive health, contraceptive access, reproductive autonomy, racial equity and justice, community-based participatory research and/or health behavior research. Candidates must have outstanding academic writing skills and a strong background in study design and quantitative data analysis.
The Researcher will work directly with the Principal Investigator, Dr. Cynthia Harper, and other members of the team to design and conduct research on contraceptive access and reproductive autonomy among adolescents and young adults, as well as evaluations among reproductive health providers. Responsibilities will include conducting research, overseeing data collection and management, presenting at scientific conferences and publishing papers in the peer-reviewed literature. Study design, preparation of proposals, and career development activities are also important aspects of the position.

Required Qualifications:
Preferred Qualifications:
The position is hybrid, including in-person work at the UCSF Mission Bay campus.
Benefits:
