Description
Oversee the daily operations of the Solar Construction field production departments. Ensure departments are aligned to the goals and expectations of the business. Develop and enforce performance standards while maintaining quality, efficiency and morale of the production team.Job Responsibilities
Monitor work to ensure projects conform to plans, specifications, schedules, and budgets; evaluate for quality, efficiency and cost.
Be present on job sites with great frequency to provide corrective action and constructive
Criticism to Foreman on the quality and efficiency of the work being performed.
Control labor, material and other job costs and hold accountable Operations personnel in the Field, Warehouse and Support roles when costs exceed Company standards.
Monitor labor costs to ensure they are consistent with targets, identify labor cost overruns and implement strategies, training, and protocols to fix issues causing the overage.
Correct inspection failures by rooting out incomplete jobs, lack of preparedness by technicians and other errors and omissions to achieve 100% pass rate at initial inspection.
Facilitate and lead at least one "Do It Right the First Time" meeting with Operations and Field personnel monthly. Hold accountable repeat offenders and reward high achievers for their work.Understand and comply with federal, state and local regulations that affect Solar Operations.
Establish and enforce zero tolerance policy for violating safety protocols.
Forecast goals and objectives for departments and ensure they are met.
Provide guidance with respect to personnel and staffing, training and disciplinary action for employees within your purview.
Implement and enforce strategies and standards aimed to enhance customer experience.
Effectively communicate and collaborate with Partners to align on goals, streamline processes, and resolve operational issues with a heightened sense of urgency.

Job Requirements
Bachelor's Degree
5+ years experience in Construction management
Worked for a $50M-$100M Construction company, subsidiary or branch
Has led 2-4 direct reports in current or past positions
Strong project management and organizational skills; demonstrated track record for flexibility and urgency in prioritizing and organizing projects.
Considered subject matter expert in the end to end operations in the Solar, Construction or Home Improvement industry.
Excellent communication (written and oral), and problem solving skills.
Expert-level skill with Microsoft computer skills, i.e. Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
Excellent leadership and team management skills, proven ability to inspire and motivate others
Ability to recognize construction issues & problems relating to the Solar install, and recommend and implement corrective measures
Ability to manage multiple high-stake projects simultaneously
Think creatively and seek innovative solutions to complex technical & business problems related to the Solar industry
Capable of creating and presenting PowerPoints
Excel, Google suites and email
Ability to quickly learn CRM
Work with confidential information and understand the critical nature of privacy
Reliable transportation to and from the office
Physical Activities and Demands
Able to see and hear in the normal range, with or without correction
Must be able to communicate verbally and in written form
Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
Ability to read, count and write to accurately complete all documentation and reports
Manual dexterity required using hands to finger; handle, feel and type; reach with hands and arms
Have the stamina to work long hours and overtime, if assigned; must be willing to work an irregular schedule, which may include weekends, holidays, evenings, and/or varying shifts.
