Payroll Specialist

Basic Information

This position is for a Payroll Specialist based in Atlanta, GA, USA. Compensation ranges from $22.50 to $30.75 per hour, with benefits including paid time off and retirement. The Payroll Specialist will be joining the HR team in the company's corporate office, reporting to the Senior HR Director.

Responsibilities

Processing bi-monthly full-cycle payroll for salaried and non-exempt employees.
Ensuring employee personal information is correctly recorded in ADP.
Handling federal, state, and local tax records for payroll.
Accurately recording the accrual of PTO, Vacation plans, holiday payment, shift differentials, bonuses and other financial items.
Assisting with payroll account reconciliations with the general ledger.
Preparing various payroll reports for leadership as needed.
Managing integrations into new ADP platforms including transfer of client groups where necessary.
Handling the expatriate payroll process once per month and associated recordkeeping.
Assisting the Compliance team in reconciling tax accounts, reconciling annual reports, and preparing annual W-2's.

Requirements

5+ years processing full-cycle payroll in a corporate environment.
Knowledge of payroll laws and tax reporting regulations.
Experience with ADP payroll platforms required.
Experience with SuccessFactors strongly preferred.
Excellent verbal, written communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency with systems and ability to quickly learn the organizations HRIS and talent management systems.
Advanced Microsoft suite skills, particularly with Excel, spreadsheets, and PowerPoint.

Education

College degree or relevant experience in lieu of degree
