Payroll Specialist

$25/hr

Hybrid (4x a week on-site in Alpharetta, GA) Flexible schedule

Overview:

We are seeking a diligent Payroll Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will provide crucial support to ensure the smooth functioning of our payroll operations. Your primary responsibilities will include processing payroll and accurately inputting data. Additionally, you will assist in addressing employee inquiries and resolving any payroll-related issues that may arise.

Key Responsibilities:

Utilize ADP Workforce Now software to prepare and submit biweekly payroll.
Process time and attendance using AProcesses DP and generate related reports.
Prepare manual payroll checks when necessary.
Collaborate with the Payroll Manager on year-end audits.
Act as a point of contact for employee inquiries regarding payroll matters.
Serve as a backup in the absence of the Payroll Manager.
Generate various payroll reports on a bi-weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis.
Ensure compliance with wage garnishment requirements by completing necessary forms and adjusting payroll records.
Adhere to established payroll procedures and processes, ensuring data integrity and assisting in troubleshooting data issues.
Assist with Travel & Expense reimbursements as needed.

Requirements:

Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
Proficiency in mathematics and computer skills.
Excellent customer service skills.
