    Description
    General Manager

    Manages and assumes responsibility for all functions of a Papa John's restaurant to ensure high-quality products and customer service are delivered for restaurant profitability. This role requires a self-sufficient leader who can make quality decisions and instill pride and accountability in team members. Additionally, responsibilities include overseeing operations, enforcing Company policies, ensuring legal compliance, and promoting ethical business practices.

    Responsibilities
    • Ensure product quality by establishing quality standards with team members and promptly addressing customer concerns. Gather feedback, share it with the team, and use it to enhance operations and customer loyalty. Train and communicate quality standards, recruit customer-focused team members, and maintain adequate staffing levels.
    • Set and meet sales targets by delivering exceptional customer service, increasing check averages, exploring new sales avenues, and implementing effective marketing strategies. Monitor and manage profit goals by controlling costs, resolving budget deviations, and executing cash management duties.
    • Maintain proper inventory levels, oversee restaurant cleanliness, equipment maintenance, safety, and security standards. Drive teamwork, energy, and fun within the team by coaching, developing, and creating a positive work atmosphere.
    Key Requirements
    • High School diploma or GED required
    • Serv-Safe/Local or State Food Service Certification preferred
    • Two years restaurant management or supervision experience preferred
    • Valid driver's license and proof of insurance required
    • Essential skills: Cash management, effective communication, planning and organization
