This finance leader will serve as a key business partner to the Brand Management function as we continue to advance the operating model and transform our front-end capabilities.
The successful individual will leverage strong working knowledge and project management skills to accelerate progress in key capabilities areas including innovation, brand building, long term planning and go-to-market excellence.
Responsibilities:
Provide financial partnership to Executives within the Marketing function across all of Newell.
Lead development, implementation and support of financial tools and frameworks to support long-range business and financial planning including maintaining Global A&P and Innovation trackers.
Drive consistency and rigor across the economic aspects of the new product development process including standard analysis of all Tier 1 and Tier 2 initiatives.
Partner across various functions including Finance, Marketing, IT and Sales to deliver Commercial capability agenda.Direct and/or provide financial reporting across Global Innovation, Marketing Spend/ROI and Marketing Overhead.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related discipline.
10-15 years relevant experience in a CPG Finance.
Ability to work independently and proven success in a fast paced, matrixed organization.
Self-starter with proven track record of working thru ambiguity, building relationships and consensus amongst diverse teams.
Experience setting up new processes and demonstrated strong analytic capability.
Excellent communication and executive presentation skills
