I have over 16 years experience working in industries such as real estate, construction, and professional services. As an accountant/bookkeeper, I am responsible for managing the finances for the company and ensure the financial transactions in general ledger are recorded correctly. I  strong analytical skills and proficiency in using QuickBooks, Excel and other cloud based software.

Bookkeeping:

Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using accounting software.

Record day-to-day financial transactions and complete the posting process.

Reconcile bank and credit card statements regularly.

Accounts Receivable (A/R):

Generate and issue customer invoices in a timely manner.

Record customer payments and reconcile A/R ledger.

Follow up on overdue payments and address customer inquiries.

Accounts Payable (A/P):

Process vendor invoices, ensuring accuracy and proper documentation.

Prepare and process payments to vendors.

Reconcile A/P ledger and address any discrepancies.

Invoicing:

Prepare and send invoices to clients accurately and promptly.

Monitor and follow up on client payment status.

Resolve invoice discrepancies and address client inquiries.

Payroll:

Process payroll accurately and on time, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.

Calculate and record payroll-related transactions.

Address employee inquiries regarding payroll matters.

Financial Reporting:

Prepare regular financial reports, including income statements and balance sheets.

Provide management with financial insights and recommendations based on analysis.
