- Conduct in-depth market analysis of Aquaculture and precision aquaculture business, including evaluating total available markets in different regions of the United States.
- Evaluate and assess the economics of aquaculture industries, including production costs, sales, and profit margins.
- Conduct industry informational interviews to collect business perceptions and use of precision aquaculture.
- Identify aquaculture field testing locations, and liaise with aquaculture sites to facilitate field testing opportunities.
- Provide weekly updates to the research team.
- Must be academically enrolled in a high school, community college, or university and pursuing a program or course of study
- Must meet Academic Standing Requirements; students on academic suspension are not eligible for employment
- Must meet the applicable minimal enrollment standard
- High School student: Regularly enrolled in a high school or participating in a home-schooling program
- Undergraduate and post-baccalaureate student: 6 credit hours per term

Position Summary
This recruitment will be used to fill one part-time (a maximum of 24 hours per week) temporary position for the College of Engineering (CoE) at Oregon State University. This position is based in Corvallis, but remote work may be allowed.
This position will assist the project PIs in investigating the market dynamics of aquaculture and the economics of aquaculture stock towards ascertaining the viability of novel precision aquaculture technology. The incumbent would have a background in business, marketing, finance, or economics with an interest in applying knowledge and skills toward environmental sustainability.
