ATTENDANCE REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION ARE AS FOLLOWS:
Non rotating 40 hour work week, Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm. Must be available to work additional hours as needed.

Responsibilities

Under the supervision of the Director of Municipal Court, a Juvenile Case Manager (JCM) provides complete case services in Municipal Court cases involving juvenile offenders.

A JCM is responsible for functions specific to juvenile offender cases including, but not limited to, entering, screening, assessing and monitoring juvenile cases ordered to case management by a Judge.

Additionally, a JCM is responsible for educating and referring juveniles, and their families, to appropriate resource agencies for assistance, creating statistical reports and case reports, interact with school officials, reporting noncompliance to prosecutor's office, and other related duties.

Qualifications

Position requires Bachelor's Degree with minimum of two (2) years of experience. A combination of education and pertinent experience may be considered. A valid driver's license is required.

Successful out of state candidates must be able to obtain a valid Texas driver's license within 90 days of hire.

This position is classified as "Safety Sensitive".

All employees in safety sensitive positions are subject to random drug testing, pursuant to City policy, HR 15.0 Alcohol and Drug Abuse.
