JOB SUMMARY
The Emergency Department Technician provides direct patient care under the direction of a Registered Nurse and is responsible for using practical knowledge and skills to work effectively with other staff.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS** - Minimum of High School or GED required. - Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association.

- Valid Licensure as a Florida EMT, Paramedic, Clinical Tech (CNA) in the State of Florida with acute care experience required.

- Basic computer knowledge: ability to operate a PC, create/save/print documents, and input data.
