- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 or other scheduling software, incorporating input from project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders.
- Collaborate with project teams to establish project objectives, milestones, and critical path activities, ensuring alignment with project scope, budget, and resources.
- Conduct schedule analysis and identify critical path activities, potential risks, and opportunities for schedule optimization.
- Monitor project progress and performance against baseline schedules, tracking actual vs. planned progress and identifying variances and deviations.
- Generate schedule reports, progress curves, and performance metrics to provide timely and accurate updates to project stakeholders, including project managers, clients, and senior management.
- Coordinate with project teams to develop and implement mitigation strategies for schedule delays or deviations, including resource reallocation, schedule compression, and change management.
- Participate in project meetings, reviews, and workshops to discuss schedule-related issues, resolve conflicts, and facilitate decision-making.
- Provide support and guidance to project teams on schedule management best practices, scheduling techniques, and software tools.
- Ensure compliance with project scheduling standards, procedures, and contractual requirements.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project scheduling processes, tools, and methodologies.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in project scheduling, with a focus on large industrial projects.
- Proficiency in project scheduling software, particularly Primavera P6, and Microsoft Office suite.
- Strong understanding of project management principles, scheduling techniques, and critical path analysis.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and draw meaningful conclusions.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate schedule-related information clearly and concisely.
- Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy in schedule development and maintenance.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent is preferred but not required.
