- Procures back ordered materials from alternate sources as necessary.
- Places orders and procures materials for small/short lead time materials requests.
- Coordinates deliveries with Project Manager's, Superintendents and notifies of any discrepancies.
- Coordinates deliveries with Shop Manager to ensure smooth flow materials for boxing fabrication and delivery to jobsites.
- Assists in routing Purchasing documentation to appropriate approval authorities for action and follows up to ensure prompt action.
- Initiates, organizes and maintains a variety of records and files.
- Ensures that a master and project piece rate work contract is signed and submitted to Human Resources prior to an employee working on a piecework task.
- Explains with the support of the Project Manager that the employee is agreeing to compensation based on tasks completed and not a set hourly rate.
- Certifies that hours worked are compensated at the minimum state required hourly wage if the tasks completed are less than said calculation.
- Inputs and Ensures that the Piecework Matrix logs are accurate and timely.
- Regularly communicates and reviews the time cards and the matrix with the Project Foreman to confirm that the work is complete and meets quality standards.
- Submits the matrix to the Home Office Payroll Department. Communicates with the employees when necessary to resolve any possible discrepancies concerning the tasks and compensation.
- Minimum three years of progressive and relevant industry experience in purchasing-clerical with knowledge of HVAC industry and supplier.
- Knowledge of practices and procedures with purchasing.
- Requires excellent computer (Word, Excel).
- SAGE(construction industry software) experience preferred.
- Requires strong verbal and written communication skills, effective organizational, troubleshooting and problem solving skills with the ability to set-up, automate and track data and information in a timely fashion.
- Ability to self-initiate activities, coordinate tasks and manage projects with strong focus and attention to detail and follow-up.
- Requires excellent people skills and ability to build and maintain positive, supportive working relationships while maintaining an approachable and friendly demeanor when working with competing priorities and demands.
- Bilingual a plus.

Position Summary: Under general supervision, follows and facilitates the complete procurement of all-material required to facilitate all projects and ensure all documents are accurate for piecework logs.
