    Description

    Atlas Mechanical, Inc., a privately owned MECHANICAL Sub - Contractor, is seeking a Purchasing-Piecework Coordinator. This position is an onsite role in the Las Vegas office and will be responsible for maintaining all Piecework matrix logs along with various other duties such as placing orders and procures materials for small/short lead time materials requests.


    Position Summary
    : Under general supervision, follows and facilitates the complete procurement of all-material required to facilitate all projects and ensure all documents are accurate for piecework logs

      Ensures that a master and project piece rate work contract is signed and submitted to Human Resources prior to an employee working on a piecework ta
    • sk.Explains with the support of the Project Manager that the employee is agreeing to compensation based on tasks completed and not a set hourly ra
    • te.Certifies that hours worked are compensated at the minimum state required hourly wage if the tasks completed are less than said calculati
    • on.Inputs and Ensures that the Piecework Matrix logs are accurate and time
    • ly.Regularly communicates and reviews the time cards and the matrix with the Project Foreman to confirm that the work is complete and meets quality standar
    • ds.Submits the matrix to the Home Office Payroll Department. Communicates with the employees when necessary to resolve any possible discrepancies concerning the tasks and compensati
    • on.Procures back ordered materials from alternate sources as necessa
    • ry.Places orders and procures materials for small/short lead time materials reques
    • ts.Coordinates deliveries with Project Managers, Superintendents and notifies of any discrepanci
    • es.Coordinates deliveries with Shop Manager to ensure smooth flow materials for boxing fabrication and delivery to jobsit
