**Job Summary:**
The Manager IT Strategic Projects leads our team of Project Managers and provides oversight and guidance in their day-to-day delivery of IT portfolio initiatives in accordance with KinderCares Project Management Framework (PMF).

**Key Responsibilities:**
Manage the project manager assignments to IT portfolio projects and maintain teams resource allocations in resource forecasting tools
Drive adoption of the Project Management Framework (PMF)
Partner with IT Portfolio & PMO governance in creating and driving meaningful delivery metrics
Encourage team environment that fosters collaboration, knowledge-sharing, positive culture, talent growth and be comfortable with performance management to support successful delivery.
Develop and monitor SMART annual performance goals and objectives for individuals and the team
Collaborate with business partners by building great relationships and fostering trust
Serve as IT Leader or partner with IT Leaders on specific projects to drive decisions and outcomes when needed

**Education/Skills/Abilities/Leadership Requirements:**
Demonstrated success delivering multiple complex IT Programs (application, infrastructure, web, and/or cloud) on time, within budget, and with quality that meets or exceeds business customer expectations
Proven effective and engaging leadership style, creating an inclusive team environment fostering growth and results
Clear history of risk management and mitigation
Excellent influence and communication skills, including navigating difficult conversations with stakeholders & staff and ability to explain technically complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders
Ability to remain calm in high-stress situations
Proven ability to effectively manage team of stakeholders throughout the organization
PMP Certification highly preferred
Knowledge of Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) preferred
Working knowledge of Scrum and/or product delivery a plus
