Our range of consulting services include:[ Audio/visual consulting – systems, conference rooms, large venue, worship spaces, video conferencing][Physical security consulting – resident monitoring, access control, video surveillance, emergency communication][Telecommunications – Collaboration, structured cabling and telephony][Network infrastructure – core, distribution, data center, wireless, security][Electronic medical records – HIPAA \ HITECH compliance services, EMR system selection]What we expect from you |As a low voltage systems engineer, designing and coordinating our technical system deployment is the primary resource role. Roles will include:Understanding and documenting client needs, goals and objectivesSystem design of low voltage systems including audio/visual, physical security, telecommunications and network infrastructureDrafting rack elevations, line diagrams, floor plans and elevationsCreating system bills of material and associated project budgetingDesign, maintain and monitor project plans and gannt chartsCommunicating on a regular basis with architects, engineers and vendors for proper design and coordination of multiple large-scale projectsDevelop specification, scope of work and design documents for low voltage systemsEnsure compliance to engineering standards, codes, regulatory requirements and specificationsAttend job site meetings, direct contractors and provide project management reportsAssisting team members with project documentation and related tasks as neededWhat you will need to succeed |Qualifying candidates should possess the following qualifications:Studies of Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent engineering degreeComputing system design experience (a plus)Low voltage system design experienceOutstanding writing and documentation skillsProfessional communication skillsOrganizational skill set and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneouslyValid driver's license and ability to travel (local and limited long-distance)How you will benefit and build |IT Initiatives offers a competitive base salary commensurate on experience as well as performance-based advancements.
