MACOM is looking a seasoned, well rounded, electricalengineer with experience designing various mixed signal circuits, includingpower supplies, analog and digital control logic, state machines, to be usedwith RF systems ranging from VHF to mmWave, Watts to Kilowatts of power.
Candidate is expected to be versed and skilled in areas suchas:
Using simulations tools such as ADS, LTspice, MicrowaveOffice, or other similar tools.
Understanding of microprocessor-controlled systems.
Ability to analyze and resolve highly complex technicalproblems quickly and independently.
Ability to work with a team including layout engineers, mechanicalengineers, process engineers, and electrical engineers.
Ability to work in a lab environment to test and verify circuitdesigns.
Must be able to clearly communicate both verbally and inwriting.
Job requirements may include:
Power supply design implementation, verification
State machine design with analog and digital controls
Design circuitry around various instrumentation op-amps, latch logic circuits
Design circuitry using power controllers, RF device sequencers
Design circuity using temperature sensors, envelope detectors
Design power supply and control filtering circuits
Additional Requirements:
BS degree in electrical engineering or equivalent and 10+years of applicable experience is desired.
