- Review geotechnical exploration reports, project specifications, and civil/structural plans.
- Analyze ground improvement approaches, considering factors such as settlement, bearing capacity, and liquefaction mitigation.
- Develop cross sections, soil profiles, and select soil properties for design.
- Utilize Plaxis for finite element modeling to understand soil-structure interactions.
- Perform design calculations and analyses, ensuring compliance with project criteria.
- Review QA/QC from Field Engineers.
- Prepare project documents including specifications and testing submittals.
- Address project team inquiries and deviations from the design.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- 3+ years of experience and EIT preferred.
- Understands of basic geotechnical design and calculation principles.
- Proficient with slope stability analysis and finite element modeling.
- Proficient with MS Word, Excel and Outlook, familiar with AutoCAD.
